About Bill Fowkes:
For over 25 years, Bill Fowkes has been the owner of Fowkes Builders. He is a second-generation builder whose family has been building homes from Sagaponack to Montauk for more than 45 years. Having grown up "on the jobsite," he has an intimate knowledge of the building business, the history of East Hampton, and the people who live here.
Bill has been, and continues to be, involved in various industry organizations and the politics of building on the East End. Most recently, he has been an Executive Board member of the Long Island Builder's Institute (L.I.B.I.). Through L.I.B.I., Bill has helped influence town zoning, industry standards, and licensing issues as they relate to the construction industry on the Eastern End of Long Island.
Bill's interests include golf, tennis and boating. He lives in Amagansett with his wife and three children.
